What new fishing stuff did Santa bring ya? I got 43 assorted jigs and lures, a Daiwa Emcast Plus 5500, and a 12 ft. surf rod. I really luv that ole dude. My wife and girl's way of saying that Santa even visits us grown-ups also. :D

Well Santa aka me bought me a new Shimano 8'6" salmon rod which I plan on using as a trout rod. The family tonight gave me a 150qt striper coffin and a lamp.Also picked up two DVD players to watch fishing videos on.:D

Friday i leave for Rockport and some of the best Trout and Redfish fishing on the Texas coast :cool: Hopefully i can catch a few limits while down there (commin back on the 1st) so if ya'll got any last minute bay fishing tips for these species please let me know.

Radio controlled helicopter from the #2 son. Man, that thing is a friggin' blast. Was buzzin everybody at the family dinner today. :p :D Nobody was safe. Does a decent job of pruning the Christmas tree too. :cool:
