need help posting pix.s
i just learnd how to work new camera.
i know how to put them on fish pix.com.
and a freind showed how to post them on anothere sit.
can anybody help:rolleyes:

There are 2 places to post ... in the photo gallery on P&S (the images you see scrolling across the top) and you can also link to an image in a post in a forum.

My suggestion is to upload them to the gallery first and then link them from there into a post if you need to.

How do you do that you ask?

Easiest way is to go to the P&S forum index (this is where you see all the forums listed down the page and you will see 5 pics at the top). Click on a pic (doesn't matter)

After you click on the pic look in the upper right hand part of the page. On the right side of the middle blue menu bar going across the page you will see these choices:

Home . Search . Profile . Upload Photos

(Guess which one you choose ? ;) )

Follow the instructions on the screen. Make sure the image you want to upload is on your PC already.

To get a pic into a post from the gallery do this:

1) find your pic in the gallery (after you upload it)

2) right mouse click over the photo and look for a menu option that says copy link location.

3) start your post

4) one of the icon buttons (yellow) on the line that includes B I U says insert image if you hover your mouse over it. Click this button and a pop up window will come up. Right mouse click into the area and select paste. The image location you copied earlier should go into the line.

5) Make sure you look at the very beginning of what you pasted. You may see this.

Make Sure you remove the first http:// It should look like this:

Al ... One more tip while running around on the net. Watch your Caps Lock button. People use caps when they want to 'yell' when typing. So Lets Go fishing becomes LETS GO FISHING and that means you are yelling happily or angrily.

You can type how you want I was just giving you a little net-education.
