Spanish made Dakin 28 gage double barrel upland bird shotgun. It came in a wooden box with red velvet lining. I took that baby apart and cleaned it like a soldier as a boy...still do today.

Still got mine-a Ruger 22 cal auto, sporting model with the 4 1/2" barrel I bought for camping trips & plinking, back in 1965. Actually shoots almost as well as other target pistols twice the price, and indestructable. Taught my daughter how to shoot with it. A great little piece that will shoot 9 rounds in under three seconds.:D

Mines a lever action Winchester .22 that I got for my 8th birthday, in 1962.
And I've got my Dads 16 ga. Ithica model 37R Deluxe.
And His Dads Winchester 12 ga. model 1897 pump. ( Bought in 1916 with money from trapping. )
And Great Granddads Ansley H. Fox 20 ga. double. ( Shot my first Squirrel with it. )
Oh yeah, and my Moms Belgian Browning 20 ga. A-5.
And Her Dads Colt "Woodsman" .22 pistol.
And I'll have them all until the day I die.
Sadly, I don't have any offspring to inherit them. :(

I thought that I would have to use mine a couple weeks ago. I have a 94 Z28 Camaro that I am working on and I came home and A stranger had the cover off and was starting to look at it, When I asked what the hell he was doing his reply "I saw that it sits around a lot so I thought you might have it up for sale." I said that one I drive it when I want and to get the f --- out of my yard.
He came back a little later and said that one of my neighbors told him about the car. I had words with my neighbor too.

But I got a Walther P22 for my birthday, in June. Since it's kept at my fathers house when my mother takes me to the range I usually rent a 9mm. I've shot the Glock 17 and a Sig, I think a p228.

New England Firearms Pardner 20 ga., got it for Christmas when I was 8. I remember finding the case for it by my sister's new bike and thinking I got a case for my pellet rifle, then I picked it up, felt the weight and dropped it out of excitement. That gun has killed tons of squirrels, doves, crows, a deer, a couple feral cats, and lots of cans and bottles. It made my shoulder turn all kinds of nasty colors when I first got it but I was shooting 3" magnum 00 buckshot by the time I was 9, haha I learned quickly to hold it tight to my shoulder. I wouldn't trade that gun for anything, not that its worth alot to anyone else anyway. I have a hard time selling a gun period, the 20 ga., my .30/30 (first rifle, gun I used to shoot my first 15 or so deer), any of the .22s I've recieved over the years, I couldn't picture any of them ever leaving my possession.

Yep. Got every gun Ive ever owned....Guns are a one way trip. I dont get rid of em.
1st was give to me by my grandpaw....1940 something Remington 510 Target Master single shot .22.....I was a year old, my dad went over there one night and my grandpaw had it broke down and was cleaning it, said he HAD to get it cleaned and fixed up to give to me that night. Didnt get it back together that night. Died the next day. They said there were alot of things he was in a hurry to get done those few days before he died, like he knew another heart attack was coming, and it did. Dad put it back together. They'll have to kill me before they take that one away.

.410/22 Over/Under. I was 10 at the time, 1954, and was the bane of all rabbits and squirles in the area. Even nailed a few Quail and the odd duck with it.
Still have it. Now the Grandkids use it.

Been thinking about getting a gun...would be my first. Thinking about some recreational deer hunting, think I should go for a semi-automatic machine gun?

A shotgun in the delectable chambering of twelve(12) guage. Many folks believe that the distinctive sound of the chambering of a round, produced by a pump action, makes the double duty (home defense) such a weapon can perform more rewarding;) ;) ;).

Did you all hear about the teenager who went on a rampage in a mall in Utah? One of the people shot was my second cousin. He survived but has buckshot all throughout his backside....
I was just joking about the machine gun bit in case anyone doesn't figure that out...:D

And filling up an entire hallway full of shot is bound to hit something rather than throwing something down the hall the size of a chiclet.
