Baltimore Orioles

I know a lot and probably most of you guys are Wash. Nationals fans but I am an O's fan kinda I am a fan but I also know they suck...anyway looks like this year they are not waiting for the season to start before faling apart....just heard that Kris Benson is injured and done for the year..well another long year in "charm City"...I will have another:beer: :beer: :beer: no make that a case:D

I am in that age range where I do not remember the original Senators that much. I do have a faint memory of seeing a game when I was 4. I grew up an Orioles fan but my passion for baseball dropped off tremendously in the past 10-15 years. I just don't have time to put into being a fan anymore. I am still as into football though. Anyway I support the Nationals and they may become my favorite team especially if Angelos is still the owner of the Orioles.

Oh how I would love to see Cal Ripken OWN the Orioles ... they may not be any better but at least I would know that the owner is not a slimebag

I remember the old Senators and have been a O's fan since I discovered Baseball and these last 10 years or so have been a real pain..I agree as long as Angelos owns them they will suck he doesn't spend money wisely too many player past thier prime and as for developing talent ..when the younger players start to show promise they trade them "building for the future " well that is an old excuse..As for Ripken owning the team I totally agree it would be great and he has shown that he is successful at everything he does...I think there are some behind the scene talks about that exact thing but nobody's saying anything public:popcorn:
