Howdy ya'll. My wife has been in the hospital for 5 days and they still don't know what is wrong. CAT Scans yesterday and endoscopy/colonoscopy today. We could use your prayers or even just your uplifting thoughts...

I hope she didn't swallow a 8/0 circle hook. :(

are with you and your family..I know what you are going through...my Girlfriends sister has been diagnosed with AIDS (from sharing needles) and she is currently in hospital and we are not sure if she will ever come out, her "T" cell count is basically zero so any small infection could be fatal and most of her internal organs are beginning to fail so if anyone has any prayers left over we would appreciate them

Thanks everyone. It does appear to be related to Chronic Lyme disease. All bloodwork and other samples came back ok. The colonoscopy and endoscopy apparently are ok as well. Biopsy results not back yet though. GI specialist finally getting close to admitting that it might be the Lyme. She has already tested positive for it. There are a lot of doctors who aren't very educated on chronic lyme though--this GI acted like there was no such thing...

Looking at 3.5 months of antibiotics through a stint (spellling?) in her shoulder...

This scares me to hear. Im in the woods year round and do what I can for tick prevention and still wind up with 8-10 STUCK in a years time, no to mention the countless ticks crawling. Keep us updated.

It's amazing how often Lyme is overlooked as the cause for unexplained illnesses.

Treed, I've had some rather unusual reactions to tick bites myself, so I get tested for Lyme everytime now.
