Can't yet brag about any fish I have caught to date (personal best is a 32" striper off the surf of Assateague Isalnd, Maryland, unless a 40 pound cownose ray counts), but we all have fish "tales". Only thing I have to brag about (other than my daughters) is last fall after 23 years of golfing, I got an ace, and that ain't no fish tale, had witnesses. Don't go to golf boards, fishin' still above the golf game, but for a brief flash of time I was in seventh heaven.

This has nothing to do with" bragging" about fishing but the wife bought me a new truck last month, told me that my wrangler wouldn't make on a long distance trip.:D

Guess that's a "you wouldn't understand, it's a Jeep thing", I too have a Wrangler, and love it, but my wife doesn't unless it's sunny, top down and heading east to OC!

Trigger sent you a PM.

No big fish-no Brag.Just alotta small snappers and cookie cutter flounders .

Looks ,I'm gonna wait till the fall.

On the boat side,though-missed mycitation for spades by half an inch.

Out of 16 fish we could keep-landed 7 myself,on a 6 foot ugly stik with a small Okuma trolling reel.15 lb test!FUN!!!!!

Citation for spades is 21 inches or 8 lbs-all release.

I hope my head can fit out the door now!:D :D

shaggy, I know and am trying to send you back one. sence we are talking about its a jeep thing, I need some help with mine,I have a problem with it leaking where the windsheld and the body meet, the gaskit must be worn and need to repair it so I can drive it to the Tank on the 2nd of Aug,do you know anybody that could help.(not the dealer too much$) TRIGGER

The leak is another"Jeep" thing, mine is getting a little better (use to be able to go swimming or take a bath in the passenger floor board area). First thing is check the "grill" in the middle right before the windshiels and make sure it is not clogged with anything, next (which is what I'm doing), the seal (gasket) where the windshield sits (under where it folds down).

Hey trigger if it is a small hole in your seal use the quikseal from the hardware store and should do the trick. Make sure the seal itself is dry or else won't stick. Good luck! Oh and my biggest fish to brag this year is my 2 40" red drum I caught at sebastian inlet lin FL last december. I know I know that was last year but other than that all I have is a good 25 lb cownose ray at the tank to brag about!

Go to jcwhitney.com, choose Jeep restoration (or wait until I find out if it works) and look for "cowl rubber" (the piece between the body and the windshield)

Replacing that whole gasket really isn't that hard but you have to make sure you have the right glue, right gasket and don't break your windshield. So it would take you and a buddy to do it. But it would be worth it if you are really getting wet and tired of it.:D

Don't feel bad,FL-man,I hooked up to a wreck anchor while drifting for Mr.Brown.I had my buddy all freeked out when I told him to keep manuvering the boat so I can get the monster in.Well after a 35 min ...FIGHT...boated a citation 5 lb,old, rusty wreck anchor that had 10 lbs of seaweed on it.The strong current kept sweeping it,and made it feel like a lunker......I am just a magnet to run away anchors

Well to end it all....1 burned up reel(drag washers, and level wind gear).30 lbs braid inbedded in spool, and 1 worn out arm from dragging a wreck anchor from 1 side of the HRBT to the other.I just shoulda cut the line.....:p

Nothing to really brag about from shore or pier unless you count some bigggg cow nose rays. On a boat either a cobe, cuda, or king. But one thing not trying to get people jealous but i can brag about this spot i found(gonna keep it secret). But everytime i have been there i have caught a few keeper flounder. Had one around 23 or 24 inches last year.
