rush or van halen?

im making a gallery style montage and i either want van halen "right now" and rush "tom sawyer" which would be a better choice? i already know most of your opinions on rush and i have to agree but which is the better for a montage?

Actually I would lay out the pics in the order you would present them and maybe play both songs and just flip through them to get a feel. Better yet if you have them on the PC set up a simple slide show (Google Picasa is good for this) amd listen to the each song. See which one better fits the groove. I have a feeling you will pic VH just because it is more commercial sounding.

I love Sammy Hagar BUT to me Van Halen ain't the same without Diamond Dave.

And you know my feelings for Rush so no need to bother.

Come on now. LOL :D Well that's what make us all unique i guess. Taste in music and braid vs mono. LOL IMHO Rush by far. But, I love crazy time signatures and drum lines. Again IMHO right now? How about "Hot for Teacher" ;)

I don't think that would fit for a fishing montage. He is kind of making a fishing video if you will. I can visualize his choice.

Hot for teacher would be great for a boat full of hotties though!

lol yea that would be a good one...a slide show of all the hotties on pontoon boats, jet-skis, beach bathing, etc. from our expeditions...yea but thanks for the advise i was leaning towards VH...just because its like real montage music...king of like rocky:D ...but again i like rush and i like "tom sawyer" for the longer solos that drag it out...i've got a lot of pics im adding into it...

the mustard with me either. Dave was a freak but that cocky attitude and Eddie's licks went together like flounder and slaw. I'm semi deaf thanks to Van Halen and shotguns.
