Fish with a friend (Dexter) I met at IRI last year. Started the day off at Records but only got some small yellows , Dex got a Bass before we left....Waited for a bite that didnt happen for us . Fish from 11 to 1 then left for Concord Spillway. All small stuff here too...Bass and crappie . Fished from 2 to 4 then left for a spillway off the Nanticoke....Dead low tide when we arrived and the bite was slow . I struck out againg and again as Dexter picked them off here and there (6 to 11 inchers bith male and female) while we both searched for the magic bait...Dexter got quiet and really started to pick em good and I have but 1 small bass to show for it . Finall I switched to the magic he found and instantly the light was green and I nailed em with him till dark . These fish were very nice and guess where I'll be in the AM.....:D :D :D

I used to fish there. the rumor is there is some huge crappie directly in the fastest section of the spillway. There is also good action around the bridge about 60 yards away. that is my last resort if nothing else is biting. minnows and worms on a float always produce around the bridge pilings even in the deadest tide and cold. I'm glad to see the yellows back there again.

One day with Oldlinesides I used 1 minnow to locate fish (crappie) and switched right back to arties.. Artificial baits out produce live bait as long as you find what they want .
