Fishin' Indecision....

Goin' fishin' by myself tomorrow, and can't make up my mind as to where to go and what to do....:rolleyes:

Take the 'Yak?

Hit the surf?

Go to the Pier?

Which one?

Where?

I think that this only becomes a problem to those of us who fish WAY too much. I've covered so much ground, and have so many places and options within a two hour drive, that it's hard to decide.

It's easy when you hatch a plan with a buddy or two, because the choice gets made ahead of time, and then you stick with the plan (the original one at least, temporarily) no matter what...

The wind and tide don't really favor anything, there have been no major reports, and I want a change of pace.

I think the time has come for a return to the basics, I'm gonna hit up Jekyll and St. Simon's Piers in the morning, where I cut my saltwater teeth.....

I'm also gonna find the Village Creek landing, once and for all, for an upcoming 'Yak trip. :)

Hit them GA piers and let us know. I've been trying to go for a couple weeks with no luck. I'm Jones'n to get out there. We did the family bike riding thing on Jekyll sunday before last and the birds were diving about 100 yards off the beach.

I've heard reports that they are catching good numbers of small whiting of St Simons (from boats).

At least you'll be :fishing: We'll be waiting on a report.

I vote you pack up everything and just take off and let your instincts lead you ... but not a regular hangout ... hit somewhere new or you haven't been for a long time ....

I know the feelin RR. I'm sittin in my living room watching FoxNews and ya know what I think i will go fishin tonight (it's 11 and I gotta wake up at 7 but, I can go to like 20 places but, where and what and how.) Dam but, there gotta be a fav even if she ain't perfect. so I'm going to ballast even though it's not the best, she is my first. :fishing: I say if ya can't decide goto the pier (cause she can be mean and challenging alot of the time) take a pic of that toadfish if it ain't good, drink a few and share the pics and good times with us. :) I'm frankly sick of seeing you tear it up and show those beautiful reds and trout.
