stradic aero?

i have a shimano stradic aero, does anyone no anything about this reel, i bought it at a yard sale for cheeeeeeeap because the guy didnt no what a stradic was and i love stradics, but i cant find much about the aero model

i also have a stradic 2500Mgf that i found out while i was doing this research is alot more than i thought it was, i found it in cabelas bargin cave for 20 bucks 3 years ago n have never used it, i might just have to but it out now
anyone have this reel or no anything about it

I would be carefull using this reel near salt water The Mgf in the item number means it is a magnesium frame that can corrode very easily if the finish gets scratched. But that is what makes it such a strng light reel and actually the Mgf's cost more than the standard ones. Deffinately a great deal.

The first models with the Mg spool did have issues w/ saltwater corrosion, but they have Fixed it. I don't know when it was updated,so if it is an older reel, mightwant to keep aneye on it
