What's everyones favorite Gulp! Baits to use? And when do you use them and to target what fish? Just recently started fishing with them and i'm curious. I've used the Shad, Peeler Crabs, and Sand Fleas. So far they have all been successful other than the Sand Fleas. Just curious as to everyone elses favorites. :) :fishing:

Or is it just shaped and marketed differently?

Is the "shrimp" shrimp flavored and the "sand flea" sand flea flavored or is it the same flavor in different shapes?

You know I was thinking the same thing when I saw the bloodworm ones at the store. Are they bloodworm flavored or do they all have the same general sent?

Thats kinda what I figured.

Fishbites is actually scented as labeled though. No?

My favorite is the 3" chartreuse minnow grub. Used to tip a lure. In my experience, like fishbites, the warmer the water, the better they work.

Not UNCdub but....The information is available from Pure Fishing.
I was also in a recent seminar where a Pure Fishing Rep spoke. That was my understanding after his presentation. I did call Pure Fishing to confirm that a while back and the Soft Bait Rep told me that was how it is done.

Yeah, a buddy of mine talked to a Berkely rep in a tackles shop and was told it’s all the same scent, just different molds.

my favorite is the 3" natural or pearl shrimp when I'm fishing in Ft. Myers area, FL. You can cast it into the mangroves with a 1/4 or 3/4 ounce cotee jighead (look at some of KodiakZack's Dunlawton posts). Twitch Twitch, pause, reel slowly to crawl it on the bottom for about a foot, and repeat. I also catch loads of snook and mangrove snapper doing this along the sides of bridges and piers. I always keep a bag and some jigheads for when I run out of bait or if I see a place I just want to try out.

I've caught a few jacks on the pogy on a jighead, but I don't buy them much because it's too expensive.

The crabs, shrimp and bloodworms. I have had success with all three. Blue fish, weak fish and flounder.
