I met a guy at BPS in Myrtle Beach last week and he told me about this site. Been sittin' back and enjoying the dialogue - you guys are a wealth of information on everything from gear to techniques. I'm pretty new to surf fishing. Been angling mostly in the Carolina mountains for twenty plus years, but when a bear ate my tent I thought I'd try the coast for awhile. Meanwhile, thanks for all the good advice I'm getting from your answers to other people's questions, and for now I'm planning to sit back and just look stupid before I open my mouth and remove all doubt.

Hi Mangus. Not too new to coastal fishing but to this site ..yes I definately like what i see. I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate and post pictures and stuff. I fish central VA waters. but salt water fishing kicks azz. Iwould move to the coast but all I would do is fish. That does'nt pay the bills YET!--------Had a good bite on trout last evening b4 the rain. Peace
