i have used that before. it works better in lakes. and the water has to be absolutely still. personally i dont recommend this product. My friend had it and fishing without it is better. just my opinion

As previously stated, it works better at lakes with calm water. I've tried it at the surf but it won't give you a reading due to the wavy waters.

I tried mine at the Bonner bridge, like everybody is saying, calm water is a must.

i have one and i have to say i absoulutly love it, it dosent have to be flat, i drag it behind my kayak even in 2 footers, works great, never had a problem with it, its great for graphing the bottom
