What surf rod (length, line, weight) is best for a Daiwa Grandwave 30? Any recommendations out there?

A lot has to do with a few details such as how much weight ya gonna throw and how much ya wanna spend.

Ocean master light - 4-6 and some say 8 ozs for just over $100.
Ocean Master heavy -8-10-12 ozs and a brick if want need to just over $100.00

Breakaway HDX 6-8-10 ozs around $200.00

then ya get into customs and the sky is the limit

Just about all these rods are from 12' to 13'
Line - most use 17 to 20 lb test mono
