Not doing what I was supposed to do in school and in college. Had to steal a semester exam in high school to graduate and lost a scholarship in college. It would have been a whole hell of a lot easier just to knuckle under and do what I should have instead of bustin my a$$ now.

To all the younger guys still in school. Do it right now and the rest will be gravy for you.

I think for me, I wish I would of known about other options before college. Its my 9th year out of college as a engineer and I like what I'm doing but its not my passion.

I wish someone was there to walk me through the process and letting me know all my options. I only knew one. Go to college, get good grades, get a degree, get a job, start family, make money.

If I would of known I had the option to go to culinary school, military academy and etc... I would of chose something that I want to do for rest of my life. My manager once told me this, "you gotta do what you enjoy to be good at it." I agree with him after 9 years of working.

I read an interesting article in Washingtonpost about these two guys starting a shrimp farm in Easton, MD. One guy has a degree in biology and the other guy in business. They are doing what they are passionate about. I respect that. They are in their wetsuits trying to figure out how to create best habitat to create shrimp farms...

That plus drugs and partying,Living my "shoulda been in college" years off back child support money, roomates and restaraunt jobs...If it weren't for me meeting my wife,God knows where I'd be....What would I change? Nothing. I learned from my screw ups and I choose to believe it has given me a different perspective and insight..I know what to do to help keep my kids on the right path from the mistakes I made.

I could almost agree with this, I would just change the person I said I do to the first time, and the silly age I did it at...... If I could do it again...... I wouldnt be who I am now now would I.....and while some may tink I am an A$$ Hole I kind of Like me and WHo I am. SO Now that Ive said all that I wouldnt change anyhting.

It would be easier to say what i've done right...hence..DORIGHT...it's a constant reminder i've had since high school..the "best" thing i've ever done is being a father to my kids. I've walked away from a six didget job with a major corporation cause i would of never seen my kids on my custody days....i've spent all my money battleing their skank mother for maximum rights to my kids...their just now getting to the age that they can tell...i cook all thier meals..iron their clothes, do their hair, etc..and spank their ass when they need it...but no matter what i make sure "i'm there" good or bad...so all the partying, bar fights, and slammer time (nuthing major) don't get me down no mo....I'm out of the fast lane now...thank god...and all that matters to me is those little buger heads...and not misssing a moment of time with em...with all this crazy stuff going on you never know when your last day will be...so all i realy care about being remembered for is being "the best dad" and i've succeeded so far !!!!!!! sorry for the bio..

That's how it was for me and I'm sure it was for most Asians as well. It didn't turn out too bad. The only regret was I didn't get into surf fishing early enough. I only kinda started when I join P&S.

Nothing...Honestly.

From the time I was born, I was never allowed to get by with little mistakes, so the big ones never came.

Thanks, Dad, for being what I thought was too hard on me, so many times!

I turned out good.

I don't really remember much that happened between 1997-2000... I'm pretty sure bad mistakes were made (at least that's what my arrest records say). Would probably be dead or in jail if it weren't for my wife and kid.

Doing very well now...

Nothing wrong with making mistakes when you're young, they build character as long as you learn from them.

DUI, and a few other misc. charges thrown in there, to fix this I would have just called a cab, or decided that my jeep wrangler was not faster than a cop car, or a radio.

Easy.

Saying "I do" the first time around.

.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, saying "I don't" 15 years later was the "best" thing I ever did in my life. Didn't feel like it at the time, but in hindsight, I'm a much happier person and having a lot more fun now, than back then in that toxic marriage. We created 4 wonderful children that I ended up raising by myself, but the marriage itself sucked.

Of course, I'm saying this with the plans of saying "I do" again in the future to the current GF. Guess one never learns, huh?
Somebody please smack some sense into me. :p ;)
