Took the newly launched SS Fly Wacko out on those good flats just west of the James River Bridge this AM. The Esteemed Fishing Mentor Fishbone consented to give me a fishing lesson, and he did. Started out on small croaker hittinf sporatically, the the good ones turned on. We boated several dozen good horse croakers, and a nice 3lb Grey Trout.
It was quite chilly, and breezy, but they hit well on small jigs tipped with a teeny piece of fishbite.
