New here:) . Warning: potentially wordy when:beer:   .Been browsing for a few weeks so's to keep the needlesss questions:confused: to a minimum. Aim to nail down the art of napping while fishing. Recent Colorado transplant, primarily accustomed to trout by nightcrawlers (read: lazy bait angler); find the saltwater plenty stimulating. Already learned how very wrong it is to leave squid putrifying in the bait cooler for 3 days. :--| Dunno if any reports from me could be considered valid just yet due to inexperience, but had croakers puny to 14" coming in well with Fishbites bloodworms off Coast Guard pier today 4 May 5-8pm, incoming. Have ridiculously capable closed cockpit collapsible kayak (disused Long Haul MkI=improved Klepper single), looking to begin prowling some backwaters to accumulate some skill/form. Any suggestions of safe areas to start out paddling, cheap-as-free instruction/pointers, paddling partners (rather not drown alone) would be greatly appreciated. These forums are the best thing since sliced bread, er, toast...no, frozen waffles? Idunno. Fried balogna:spam:? Chemically sharpenned hooks? Wutevr. Wow look, I've already found myself tedious! How u doon, then?
