I was doing my Sunday field casting with my new Emblem Pro (thanks Surfcat), and I decided to make my drop about 2 feet longer than i normally do, and during the loading phase I hear a POP!!!!! rod broke in half.. I'm not a powerful caster, and I was only dong a unitech cast, not sure why it snapped.. Anyway how hard will it be for St. Croix to send me another rod?

I believe you ship them the rod, and pay shipping and they will ship you a new one. Not positive but pretty sure thats how it works.

heres what u gotta do, give them a call first, then u send them both pieces or the 4inch section with the model number on it and 25 bucks and they send u a new rod, but that depends on how old it is, triumphs i believe are the made in china models so they only have a 1 year warranty, if its out of warranty u send them 50 bucks and the 4inch section of the rod and they send u a brand new one

I was throwing a lacross ball.... i would say about 5-6z.... I fished with that rod last year and put 6 and a large chunk of cut bait in there.. no problems... In my opinion St. Croix underrates their rods.. Even Still a lacross ball should not snap a rod..
