boat question

I was thinking of taking my freshwater boat and fishing the inlets back in Lynnhaven..do I need to have a Coast Guard inspection/boating safety course to do this?

nope.

watch out for the VERY strong current; especially near the bridge, and the entire basin is more or less a no-wake zone.

thanks alot..I was thinking of launching at 64th street and fishing all back in there..got a license so Im good to go!
