Fellow Fishaholics - where would you go?

If you were to take a surf fishing safari from NC south, down around FL, across the gulf, and down through TX, what would be the cant miss spots, and times of the year to hit them.

I think this would be a nice goal to save up for.

I would start at the OBX in like late sept -oct Thean head south into GA for some fall sharkin. Then into NE FL for the fall pomp run and continue south along the FL coast about to sebastian. From there jump across the state to Tampa and the Skyway Pier. From there on around the panhandle for the spring Cobia/Pompano run..Then on to TX..Matagorda,definately a couple days on Bob Hall pier For the BIG sharks.........

the trick is to marry someone who thinks it's as cool as you do. What good is being married to someone who doesnt like fishing.

For Texas you would definetly have to hit
Bob Hall I would go for a week trust me if you are adventurous enought to put the big bait out there, you will hook into something big (11+' tiger caught last summer) another would be the fish pass for the tarpon and matagorda for the reds and trout
