I plan on making a proper wall mounted rod rack, and wondered what size hole saw to use?

Feel free to post up your own home made plans, or pictures.

Thanks,

I'm getting ready to build one myself. Here is a link to the plans I am using.

Here is the one I made last year. This can be mounted like seen or horizontally on the wall. The rear is a 2" hole saw the front I did with with a 3/4" hole saw followed up with a jig saw.

WOW! LOOKS GREAT! Horizontally would be perfect. Will the rods ever bow from the weights of the heavier reels? Is it safe to hang them that way? How far apart are the holes?

great pic, thanks,

You just have to get the Distance between the racks right works fine. Make sure you have enough room to get them in and out!
Mine are 2 1/2"
