I went to the south access after work. After a mishap with my favorite rod I was bummed. (How is Star's warranty service?) But I caught my first ever Pompano and that cheered me up. He was small but a scrappy little guy. They definately have a different feel when you're fighting them. Also caught a little ray, a fat sail cat, and 2 small bonnetheads. A big sea turtle washed ashore. He looked like he was barely alive. Someone called Turtle Rescue but I don't think his chances were too good.
