I did my best and I hope it helps pat. When I find my camera I'll try again.

Take the line that you have the dropper loop in and pinch the dropper loop

slide the loop through the eye of the hook

put the hook through the loop

pull the hook away from the standing line.

I got it down now. Thanks alot for posting the pics fisherkid. That's how I thought it was done, but wasn't sure. I tried fishing with it today..caught one nice whiting on it, then it went slow. I changed to a regular fish finder rig(sliding sinker) again, and i got two in a row right away..so, now, I'm not sure?! I also, started fishing right at the drop off of the beach(shoreline) at this point and used a very light sinker to bob around in the water, so their were different factors here too.

The double dropper-lead at the bottom rig is a standard Pompano rig..although whiting will hit it and it will catch plenty of them, It keeps the baits OFF the bottom, whereas the whiting primarily feed ON the bottom. My whiting rig is a pieceof 50lb mono leader with a swivel at the end. a sliding almond sinker of the lightest weight that will just hold bottom but slowly move,rides on the 50lb. To the swivel I tie about 3-5" of 15lb flouro anda 1/0 or 2/0 eagle claw circle sea. Yup its basically a fishfinder with a real short leader. but it works. I also use a very downsized hatteras drum rig with great results.
