Possible solution for crowded piers (PLO, Peake, Coke etc.)

So I’ve been reading a lot of posts about how crowded it gets on these piers we fish and I have a possible solution – compete for them! :D Let’s take PLO as an example. The state of MD could fence-off that coveted left corner and limit its use to a crew of 5 etc. And each night (or 2 hours before/after high tide) the winning crew would have unrestricted use of it. Here are some ideas for the “battle for the corner.”

- P&S night: add up the crew’s posts on P&S, highest wins
- Senior night: add up the crew’s age, highest wins
- Junior night: add up the crew’s age, lowest wins
- Bait night: the crew that eats the most bunker sashimi!
- Highest bid night: the crew with the highest bid
- Lottery night: buy a ticket, random winning crew
- Distance casting night: crew that can cast the furthest
- Poker night…
- Redskins vs. Cowboys night…

Like to hear some of your ideas…
