If the Falcons can contractually cut him and not lose their shirt they should do so now and move on as training camp is coming up fast.

I try to withhold judgment until a person is found guilty but the evidence being reported in the indictment is overwhelming and it is horrific (In my opinion).

All involved (not just Vick) need to go away for a long time.

I am in no way calling any of them a serial killer BUT the two things ALL serial killers have in common; They come from a broken home and animal cruelty. Cruelty to animals is also part of the homicidal triad (firestarting and bedwetting being the other two)

I was thinking of how to say what you just did. I grew up in a family that kept dogs. Bred and raised them, and you are right very few of them are natural born "killers". Every dog that was bred was given a name and we cried whenever one "left us. The first time one of "mine" fought it terrified me so bad that I could never do it again. My dog lost. I spent the whole walk home apologizing to my pal. Needless to say he never fought again.

My brother has a big ole fat pit named girlie. She is gentle and lays around with his two cats. She just had a run-in with a would be burgular (blood on the inside of an open window) which only shows that she didn't attack until she found the intruder to be a stranger.

Doesn't it mostly depend on how the animal is raised and taken care of? You can train the animal to do anything. Treat them bad and they will act that way.
NB has a sign up saying that pit bulls are outlawed in city limits. I do not agree with it as I think they are blaming the animal not the people.

I good friend of mine has a pit mutt, she is the biggest sweetheart and bonehead you'll ever meet... but if you come on that property, or near it... or she just doesn't like the way you look... she'll let you know and it ain't pretty. She is very aggressive by nature, but she is a GREAT dog... My boy has had some close calls with her, where he swore she would have attacked if she wasn't stopped... so for that she stays well locked up in the backyard when she's out and she stays in her crate when there is strangers over. She is great with other animals and pits though... she's just a big dummy and wants to play... she is around his 3 nieces and is GREAT with kids.

What I can't stand is the idiots that buy these dogs as a statement, they dream up these killer... and when they get that killer they can't handle it... these dogs get abused, dropped off, and killed because of the way they are! Makes me sick. I think from the start you have to show these dogs that humans are the alpha dog... i'm not sayin' beat the piss out of them for peeing on the rug... but there will be a time where alot of dogs (just like in nature) will challenge there alpha... and that's when you need to put that dog in it's place... dogs submit by rolling on there back with a grab at the throat, flipping a dog on it's back with a firm grip around there throat will let them know real quick who the boss is.

I have a pit. He's really a nice guy. My grandkids play with this dog but never unsupervised because they come to visit sometimes and the dog isn't around them all the time. If he ever showed any aggressiveness to any member of my family he would get a one way ticket to euthanasia. Mike Vick is a real loser. The NFL does not need any more thugs. I was not buying the Duke scandal from the beginning as there was already contradicting statements and testimonies. It was also handled by local authorities.

This on the other hand is the FEDS and they only take cases that they can win (supposedly not to waste our money .. yeah whatever). However they are win 95% of the cases according to statistics I heard on the radio yesterday.

Oh trust, if that dog ever opened it's mouth or growled at his nieces i'd put her to sleep myself. My daughter is terrified of larger dogs so she is in the crate or out back if the kids are over. If the kids are around they're ALWAYS supervised, especially if the dog is out... I have heard too many stories to trust any terrier around kids unsupervised, or trust them at all for that matter, etc... which is why I choose not to keep one. I'm more of a lab kinda guy.

She knows not to jump on the kids though, she tolerates petting and pulling, and for the most part doesn't pay them any mind.

You are right, but we also know that where there's smoke, there's fire. Those dook kids weren't perfect either, they were always getting in trouble for underaged drinking, etc. Vick may not be guilty of all of the charges brought against him, but he's not 100% innocent either (i.e. Bad News Kennels ??? WTF???). Thats about as nice as I can speak on this matter, I love my dogs and cats.
