used to skate back in the day....as hard as I fished today.

Countless broken bones, dislocated shoulders and bruises...gave up and became domesticated.

Still got a board laying in the garage, just shifty's , shove-its and ollies for me....no more half pipes..no more weaving in and of traffic.

Nope not me in Thrasher...

Maybe NTKG?

BTW - that is a very, old Thrasher pic - maybe late 90's.

Look at the boards, shoes, cars and clothes! That coulda been my time.

Just got back from Bass Pro Shop with Jr. (getting ready for Skyway) and then I notice all this hoopla over some pics. I cannot confirm nor deny that this is me :D. But that’s one good looking fella, no wonder they picked him for a fashion modeling shoot ;).

I can't get the story straight on flying with my surf rods but basically if it's over a sixty something inches I have to pay extra $. That's after I got a bazuka case to put them in, and assuming it won't get inspected and "thrown" back in etc. I just went the travel light route and:
- st. croix tidemaster inshore (breaks up in to 3 parts, with a carry case) - just like SeaSalt ;)
- 4000 stradic MgFA (very nice)
- loaded with pp 20# braid

oh, on "woot i win?" i have no comment :D.

They don't use pin rigs down there. Ya take yer bait and freeline it out with the incoming or outgoing tide. Pin rigs are rarely used on the gulf side for the most part. Not saying you can't but you'll get some funny, if not dirty looks. BTW, pin rigging is fun if you want to sit back and have a beer, but over here, freelining is how it's done.

Hmm... me will research "freelining" and add it to the homework list :).

On the Panhandle, it's called "snobbling", and its done with both live bait, dead bait, and cigar-cicles (frozen cigar minnows :D )
