Hey Guys, How is it going? Originally from Miami in the keys . Now living in Rincon, in southern Georgia. I do a lot of surf fishing at night for large sharks. Strictly catch and release. My parent moved to St.Petersburg. I would like any information on surf fishing for that monster I would like to catch on St. Pete beach. happy fishing and hope to here from you soon.

Go to John's Pass or Blind Pass, walk the beach, and fish the surf trough for snook. They are on fire right now. Early mornings or late evening. Cast net some sardines or threadfins or throw anything white as far as an artificial. A white DOA Cal, Exude, Gulp! etc. jerkbait, white bucktail jig, or a DOA TerrorEze.

Around the passes proper near the rocks freelined shrimp with a split shot about 18 inches above the hook will do nicely too.
