What is your favorite soft plastic shad imitator for inshore fishing? I've heard several praises for Zoom's albino super fluke.

Zoom Super Fluke is a GOOD bait. The Gulp! Jerk Shad is BETTER! I also have good success with the D.O.A. Cal-Jerk. The Jury's still out on the Bass Assassin Slurps, but so far, I like them too. They smell just like the old Original Fish Formula, which was a HELLUVA good product.

Tsunami hands down. The mustad hooks s*ck @$$. The eyes break but they flatout catch fish. Catching stripers under lights that is. I LOVE the black back ones. Paddle tail or split tail. We threw everything from any kin of top water to flukes, to bucktails (roadrunners caught some fish) to bass assassins *spell check*...came back to the Tsunami...match the hatch on size. We did the best bouncing the bottom with them

Its a toss up between the Gulp! Jerk Shads and the DOA C.A.L. tails. When I'm fishing very slow and easy, I like the Gulps (hopefully they'll make the Alive! in the Jerk Shads soon...) When the bite is hot, I like the C.A.L.s, which seem to have a better action.
