can some one please guide me on magging saltiga surf 30 red spool

I understand you have a daiwa saltiga surf 30?
Dont know how to mag the spool. But can you tell me how is the daiwa on distance casting? Out of the box a little bit to fast for fishing. Could the reel used for casting at the grass?

A little about magging mine but after my last trip...I feel like I don't need to. Just a fast reel but you can slow it down if need be......thicker oil, red breaks etc......some nice magging jobs on this site but be carefull.....you send that reel off to anyone that can do an adjustable magging job, it may be a while before you get it back. Several test casts would probably be in order to make sure it was working right.;) :)
