Can any one tell me the differences between the between the
Emblem v
Emblem x
and Emblem Pro
I have seen reference to each but not sure of the variables. The only one I can find in recent catalogs is the Pro

Thanks,
Does anybody know what the transitions or
add-ons to this evolution were??
what I am looking for is weather or not there was any impovements other than bearings in each version as am looking at used reels and would like to be better oriented with them before I commit to buying.

i don't know any info on the old ones, i have a limited knowledge on daiwa reels. i am a 99% shimano guy. 1% daiwa and my daiwa reel is a JDM.
what's your budget on buying a reel?

i don't know about emblem v, however i prefer emblem x over emblem pro because of the line lay. however emblem pro has infinite stopper and look nicer.

well I picked up a used emblem x at a very reasonable price the line lay on it is very tight wich in my opion will allow for an easier cast, the x version also has fewer bearings which for me means fewer problems and maintance in the long run.
I will be mounting this reel on a Conoflex estuary match and hopefully will get a chance to give it a test run on a local field.
up until now i have been using primarily a Mitchle 302 and had been hiting around 350-400ft. I'll be curious to see what this will do.

The Emblem S-T (light gold color) and it's big brother, Emblem X-T (light silver color) were both forward tapered spools. They were identical except the color and the X-T had the infamous 'twist buster' feature. The XA, ZA and Pro were/are all reverse tapered spooled. I highly prefer the forward tapered ones.

Daiwa Emcast Sport is hard to beat dollar for dollar. Trickle down engineering from their high end products is heavily adapted to this affordable performer.
