Pompano!!!

Went fishin' for an hourt today. Caught 1 mullet, one croaker at 16" and 5 pampano; something I normally DON'T fish for. The first 3 I caught I relesed. I was not to sure on what the regs were on them so I let go the ones I caught( 9" 10", 12"). Then when I made some phone calls I found out what the regs were and also that The 4th and 5th one I caught might be a ciation. One was 14" but the other was at 15" but 1 lb. 3 oz.. Defenatly was not planning on catching something like this today. :eek:

What are the regulations for Pompano? I can not find a minimum length requirement for them anywhere.

no minimum i dont think just a limit on how many you keep, i can't remember

I can't find anything on them in the regulations. Maybe there aren't any limits at all??
