I've never used a jig. I've read alot about them here in the forums, especially the white bucktail. The main concern I have is the wieght. Most talk about 1/8 oz. or 1/2 oz. I can't cast it too far with my 20lb.mono, let alone feel the bite. Can I use them on a double dropper rig and let the wash(surf) move them around for me? Can I use a jig on a fish finder rig, allowing the sliding sinker(4-5oz.) take it to the bottom and again, let the currents take care of the "jigging"?
