Went fishing today off a pier with my surf rods... my first mistake! Hooked a nice fighting ray, as we callem Ray Ray, in mid fight (30 minutes worth) had a guy in a boat ignore my hand waving and run right thru my line cutting the ray loose along with my shock leader, my lead and even my purdy lil beads. :mad:
Do they let just anyone operate a boat these days or what???:confused: In VA atleast, these boaters are just ignorant or high as they have forgotten the times when they fished off land or pier. As I was surf fishing I have even had a jet skier run right into my line catching him by the throat. Do they think this country boy from GA can't cast?? CRAZY!!
I own a boat and try to be as courteous as possible and give surf/pier fishermen plenty of room to fish as there is more than enough room on the water. Oh well atleast the fish are biting here. :fishing::fishing: Until tomorrow!
