Fuji Reel Seat Question

Just got a new OM Cape Point with a Fuji reel seat. Can someone tell me how to adjust the seat...tight and loose. Seems to be a trick to it that I don't know. Thank you in advance.

It flips up like a watch band clasp. The butt end (bottom of seat) flips up and then it slides. Push it really tight and flip it back and it'll hold!

Sure, I just bought one of those last week. I had to try it out in the store. I asked at the counter to see a reel to try on it and the guy tries to give me a spinner. I was like, its a conventional rod. So, I put a 525 mag on there and it wasn't nearly as tight as I'd like it. When I got home I found that my abu 7000 fits snug as a rug. So I guess that's the reel I'm using with that rod!

I had a problem with one of my reels, either the 525 or the slosh30, not tightening down enough with the Fuji seats. I added a small piece of duct tape to each end of the reel tabs and it's good and snug now. Guess it fills in the gaps. Don't need much, just two small pieces.

Not my idea. Got it off of this board. :)
