thinking of purchasing an offshore spin-reel
to go along with my 7ft med. tiger/uglystik. i am leaning towards the Fin-Nor offshore reel and the Penn Spinfisher 850ssm. which 1 would u suggest:confused: :fishing:

-slinging bucktails at northward migrating cobias?
-live baiting off west palm with live goggle eyes?
-if i was after cobes ide settle on the penn.
-if i was after sails using goggle eyes i would settle on a shimano baitrunner or thunnus....

When he said offshore I assume "offshore" If that's correct Then go with the Fin-Nor OFS series or AHAB series. Go to their site and look at the specs of the reels - find the one that matches what you want to do - line weight, lure weight, action & power.

Penn would be my choice.
