Little Man

Right after my little man's class we hit the surf.
Stopped by wendy's to grab a bite and went plugging.
I casted the lures for him as he casnt cast far enough yet.
I was so happy, he was ecstatic, i never helped him- but i coached him. :)

After maybe 4 or 5mins, he got the fish in. It was huge, i didn't expect to see this size until october.
he got him on a 2 oz. charteuse stingsilver.
it was the only spanish we got, the rest were bluefish.
He went to bed early as he can't wait for the next day to fish again.

Thats awesome! I have a five year old who has reeled in several spot for me and the grin is priceless! He hasn't caught anything that nice yet but that day will come! Good job Dad! For every young man with a fishing rod in his hand, it's one less getting into trouble later. Congrats!

my little is 7 and he still dont know how to cast.
well, i read this somewhere and it says:
teach your kids fishing and you wont be looking for him on friday nights when he grows up. he'll be in bed early, excited for the next mornings fishing...:)
