If ya like Joy Divison, then ya aught ta check out:

Fugazi
Black Flag

The older Depeche Mode
Ditto fer the older INXS - before they got too main stream
10,000 Maniacs -Before Natalie had her kid(s):D
The pre-Madonna [ no pun intended ]- REM when Michael Stipe was still in the closet.

But as fer my musical taste. Like everything from Frank Sinatra, the Platters, Bethoven , Bach ,the Beatles , Sublime, Rob Zombie , The older...before they were alternative rock:Metallica, and even a lil Bojrk.

the 1-2-3-4...show me what your looking for.... song from the IPOD commercials is a numbing jingle.:D

I listen to Yahoo! Launchcast on my computer at work. You can kind of customize it so you mostly hear stuff you like but sometimes you get crap that they want to recommend.

It's a good way to kill some time between customers.

Kinda weird taste in music. Not a fan of Rap or HipHop. I especially enjoy the "easy listening" type of music that's played in offices.

Dude ... you ain't riding with me so let's get that straight ... Dixie Chix ?? ... Moulan Rouge ???

First opened this page it was Jerry Jeff Walker's "Desperados Waiting for a Train". Good, deep, haunting song.
Now iTunes is cranking out Rob Zombie's "Thunder Kiss '65". Thats the only Rob Zombie song on here, good'n though.
Now its Collective Soul's "December".
Waylon Jennings' "Always Been Crazy".
Days of the New's "Bring Me Down".
Bill Monroe's "Little Maggie".
Blackfoot's "Train Train."
Skynyrd's "On the Hunt."
Hank Sr.'s "Lost Highway."
Charlie Robison's "Loving County."
Bob Wills' "Can't Go On This Way."
Ricky Van Shelton's "I'll Leave this World Loving You."
Robert Earl Keen's "Amarillo Highway."
Amazingly, closing with Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day."
