and it good to see the underdog win once in awhile...Hell i am a Yank fan but i love it when i see a team like the indains. Show everybody up and watching them play is great. They are enjoying it like it suppose to be, oh did you guys here what Manny(redsox) said....that if they lose "Oh well" :eek: what the hell is he thinking. Does it bother you guys, when you see someone toss his bat the way he does after he hits a homerun??? It can be look at two way, but from what i understand from my baseball guys. Not to say they won't get beaten, but your prediction was just a little bit off. Besides, you Yankees fans shouldn't be complaining too much. living in anaheim for 15 years made me an angels fan. A chicago bulls fan but now a miami heat fan and an arizona cardinals fan.

As for the Patriots and Celtics, as Manny would say "who cares?" Celtics stink and the Patriots are in the same league with Barry Bonds and Jose Canseco, cheaters! No integrity at all.

As a man from the south, I was raised watching NASCAR. I cut my teeth as I child on my fathers wrenches. He built and raced cars up and down the east coast before NASCAR became what it is today. So as a NASCAR fan, I recognize that the teams cheat. SO since they all do, what difference does it make who I prefer. I happen to like Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart. Both happen to be remarkable drivers. What I don't understand however is what the heck this has to do with my statement about the Patriots.....
Oh I see now. YOU ARE A PATRIOT FAN, and I touched a nerve! OUCH!

I have to admit that the Patriots may not drop a game this season, and with the video library Bill Belichek has of his opponents, they shouldn't.

Well, since you declared INTEGRITY an issue for the National Football League, I do find it pretty strange that you find such high praise for NASCAR teams who get caught cheating on a weekly basis.

Well JP, I don't dislike Yankees fans, mainly the team itself. I really think they made a mistake by treating Torre the way they did. Not just because of his record with them, but with all the free agents they have that say they are "Pro Torre", with him now gone it may cost them. Posada, Mariano Rivera, and Bobby Abreau all love Torre and if the Yankees loose any of those guys they'll have a hard time replacing them.

As for NASCAR, I think the drivers are down to earth because they know which side their bread is buttered. Folks pick a driver to love or hate, and often it doesn't matter how well they do on the track that determines how popular they are. I mean, if people went by wins and losses to determine their favorites, Kyle Petty and others would have no fans at all, but they have their groupies too. So I guess personality is huge. And Don't get me wrong, I don't deny the Patriots are very talented. They are arguably the best team in the league, but unlike NASCAR where it's known everyone cheats, in the NFL, it seems to be much more above board and to get snagged like they did, and other coaches in the league (prior assistants to Belichek) knew it had been going on, just leaves things tainted. But they are loaded talent wise for sure.

I actually agree with everything you said.

I was spitting tacks for a week when I found out what happed with camera gate. I live and die with the Sox and Pats.

Screw it, If I were to worry too much about cheating,.....there wouldnt be a sport left for me to watch. Hell,..........Even the PGA Tour is going to test players for drugs next year. Go figure!

But.......I still say the Colts are the best team until some one beats them.

No question the Colts are good. Defending the Super Bowl is not gonna be easy though. Sometime in early Nov. the Colts and Pats. play, and with the Patriot defense and Brady's arsenal of receivers, I'd be amazed if they lose. I've never seen anyone win the SuperBowl in Nov. though.

Aside from one or two PGA guys who look like they are in shape, I think testing them is a waste of time and money. Can you see Mickelson being accused of taking roids? THose ain't pecs he's sportin' under that shirt! U U :D
