I received an email from Captain Gregory Buckner regarding a package deal on a charter.
I've pasted the content onto this post, and if anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and I can give you contact info.
It seems like a GREAT deal! :D
The time is now to book your Fall or Winter Trophy Striped Bass trip. We will be fishing the Chesapeake Bay for Trophy Stripers from late October thru December 16th aboard the MISS SUSIE. Late fall Striper fishing is perhaps your best chance of the year to catch your Chesapeake Bay 40 plus pound trophy. So if you are interested in a trip in November or the first twoweeks of December on the Chesapeake Bay round up your crew, pick your date from the list below and give me a call.
October Dates: 22, 23, 25, 29, 30, 31.
November Dates: 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, 26, 27
December Dates: 2, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.
Now for those of you looking for something new, with a little more adventure, Capt. Greg Buckner ("me') and Capt. Andrew Turner (current first mate and co-captain aboard the FIN FINDER) will be heading south to VA Beach aboard the FINFINDER to fish for trophy Striped Bass from December 18 thru early Feburary. The FIN FINDER is a new, spacious 46ft Markley Bay Built which Capt. Greg purchased last fall. She is a very beautiful and very sea worthy vessel, not to mention also a fish catching machine. The fishing from VA Beach, VA is trulyworld class, in fact close to the entire East Coast stock of adult migratory Striped Bass winter off the coast of VA Beach. The abundance of tightly schooled baitfish called Menhaden and the enormous numbers of Trophy Striped Bass make the fishing as good as it gets. As the fish are in a feeding frenzy every day and all you have to do is find the schools of feeding Stripers marked by the thousands of feeding Ocean birds called Gannets, which dive for the bait that the feeding Stripers drive to the surface. We are offering a special package deal to let our customers get a chance to experience a world class fishing adventure at a great price. What we haveto offer is.......... An afternoon charter departing around noon. A morning charter departing just before first light the following dayTip for the first mate for both trips Fish Cleaning (Ocean limit allows two Stripers over
28" per person/per day) Three hotel rooms with two beds per room. All of this for just $330 per person for 6 passengers, because of US Coast Guard Rules we can only carry 6 passengers for these trips on the Ocean. Please note also that the price of $330 per person is based on 6 passengers, if you have less than 6 passengers, the price per person will of course go up.
