Got in a short fishing trip, managed one 17" speck and a couple of puppies 18" and 19". A good number of boats out, not a lot of catching.
Keep an eye on your trailers. I noticed how rusty the springs on my trailer were getting. I didn't do anything about it and one set broke. I thought the boat was just sitting funny on the trailer but it was the trailer sitting funny on itself. I tried to set the boat straight the other day when I noticed the spring had snapped. I made two trips to Va. Beach and back to Richmond with it in that condition, I am lucky nothing really let go. I had bearings blow out on a trip a couple of years ago because I didn't keep up on them. Don't be an idiot like me and not keep up on trailer stuff.
