is always great! My son;s first was a bluegill and his first surf fish was a spot in the FL surf. He was just "fishing" next to me and yelled "Daddy, I can't reel my rod in" The look on his face when he saw a fish in the wash was priceless. He is now 7 and will fish with me on AI this weekend. Hopefully I will have a nice post on Monday.

Good luck Shark21 at AI with your boy! Tried to get my son who is now 5 out to fish he losses interest in about 5 minutes and wants to go play at the park or something. Guess it will take him time.
