This can be self bought or by somebody else, because some of the stuff we want may cost too much to be a present.

Next purchases by me will probably be (not nessicarily in this order or even in the near future):

Saltist 20/30H
Nitro blank
Sufix or Samurai braid

Well I got the Saltist 20 myself, so since I dont have any money I asked for the 30 for xmas.

Other fishing related items I asked for include
a beach chair, new neoprene gloves,a lure bag and gift cards.
I never get fishing stuff for christmas but maybe this will be the year...LOL

Im a mag fan myself, if I did nothing but fish the Point Id keep 525's, but I like 'Clickin' (ryan ), and even with a filed clicker, I cant hear em. IF i get a Nitro, I'll keep a 525 on it for Point fishin. Those Saltists sure are sexy. I said I wouldnt succumb, but the clicker is the main reason

Fishing wish list? A fishing kayak or a 15'-18' carolina skiff type boat. The way gas is now I'd be leaning towards a yak. My wife wants one too so make that a double seater so she can bring little K.

I already got most of it. Saltist 30H, 2 spools of PowerPro, a bunch of Gulp, and a trip to the rob building expo in High Point in Feb. Wife says she still has a few tricks up her sleeve though, so it should be interesting.

A trip to the rod expo also- and maybe a new renzetti so I can get cracking on building all those custom rods you all are hoping for :p

LOL- oh yeah, I may need an addition to the basement to make room for additional rod building space!!

and maybe a new renzetti :fishing:

That's what I'm talking about! I've literally had dreams about winning the Renzetti from the drawing they're going to have.

Tools, books, instructions on intricate designs in rod building.

Thinking about a Thompson Contender. For some reason I am crazy about them.

Contenders are ok, but I much prefer the Encore for the heavier frame and much larger selection of barrels, and calibers that are available... plus the Encore is simple enough to do your own action jobs at home without sending it out... all you need is a couple of springs and a few simple tools...

do have a contender frame sitting in the safe awaiting the Rem 17 fireball to become more readily accessible and there'll be a custom shop barrel on it... :D

hope all y'alls Christmas wishes come true...

Just a nice man with a good stiff rod and the skills it takes to land it in the ideal spot on each and every cast. :D

I don't have the patience to teach someone the proper technique of what can be done with their equipment. ;)

Santa Please Get It Right This Year?
