Yeah, was going drum fishing, but needed some bait. Realized I didnt have a cast net to catch some cobs I thought I saw on the surface right at dusk. Well my buddy had a fly rod with him for some reason. Hmmm this just might work. Toss a small dry fly out there in hopes that one of those cobs will get it. First cast something sucks it down from below. Lift the fly rod and apply tension and low and behold theres a tarpon heading the other way with the fly in mouth!!! Eased around onto a near by dock to catch up with him and knowing the fly was going to pop out due to the lack of ability to bury the hook, or I was going to run out of line. Fly is still in his mouth and he's taking line............Then I woke up to the alarm clock going off:mad::mad: I aint had a dream shaping up to be that fun since right after I hit puberty:rolleyes:
