Sitting starters for the final game

What do you guys think...should teams do this?

I think it only makes sense. Why risk your starters for a game that means nothing?? For example...I'm a Cowboys fan...I hope our starters aren't even dressed out for the final game against the Redskins. Why risk another injury for a pointless game??

However, I realize that this sucks if you are a Vikings fan b/c the Vikings need the 'skins to lose and the 'skins can probably beat the Cowboys second string.

And...then there's the Giants v Pats game...Giants have nothing to gain so chances are their starters won't play much either. Now I don't have any delusions that the Giants could beat the Pats even with their starters, but it does kinda suck that the Pats will make history by beating the Giants second string. Maybe there needs to be two asterisks beside their name in the record book??? :)

You guys did play well against us the first time, but not well enough to overcome TO/Romo. And I seem to recall that it was our defense (Newman's interception) that put the game on ice...Did Campbell "give" us that interception?

And as for this time...we'll probably never know...I'd be very surprised if our starters play much if at all. And, yes...you guys will probably be able to beat our second string in a game that means nothing to us??? :)

It seems to me the Skins are playing more reserves than anyone else now because of injuries. Sometimes reserves play harder than the starters and it makes an overall better team. If they are on the team they are good enought to get paid for playing football and will play to win.

said it before and ill say it again, cowboys will loose this game no matter who starts. and i doubt they will start there 2nd string for the reason that, it would be an embarrassment to there team to get beat 57-17.

against starters 34-20(at least they save a little face this way)

If the Skins really want to prove something against the Dallas starters in a game that actually means something...then all they have to do is beat Seattle in Seattle and then the Packers at Lambeau and then head on down to Texas...we'll be waiting.

I thought we were talking about Dallas and Washington???
This is typical of the NFC East.
Dallas will lose then the Skins manage to win a few more then meet up again and i have a hart attack watching a real game. Dam! I hate the Skins.
Either way...Good stuff.
