If you really are this depressed then instead of reading here I would dial 911. If you are not that bad then get consuling ASAP. Depression is not something to play with. Either way get some help for yourself. This time of year is always hard. Stay strong and again get some help.

Get some help man. Clay is absolutely right, depression is a $*&*&^!! If you're bad off, dial 911 or go to a hospital, it's not worth it to do anything drastic. Life is temporary, death is permanent. You can make it through whatever this is and be stronger for it. Trust me, I've been there.

If you believe you may be depressed, you should know that depression can be effectively treated. People who are depressed often believe they cannot be helped; some of that belief comes from the illness itself - depression causes a sense of hopelessness. Sometimes the belief that you cannot be helped comes from previous experiences of someone trying to help you. ..
Just hang on another day, things will get better, talk to someone, people will listen.

Magged - suicide is not the answer, too many people care about you that you don't even know! Talk to some professionals, your spiritual God, friends, and family members, but most importantly take it one day at a time. One day at a time.

Magged,I can relate to those feelings..Lost my wife last year to cancer, and the period between Thanksgiving and New Years was the hardest time I have ever experienced in my life.Thoughts of suicide went through my head every day.But it gets better.Trust me it does.Just gotta take it one day at a time, spend time with your family and friends, and try to enjoy life.Worst thing you can do is spend lots of time alone(again, trust me).
And if you have any religous beliefs, know this..suicide is a one way ticket to the fire.
Stay strong brother...

Magged out,
Hope you do have a religous beliefs because a relationship with the god will for sure help you through these tough times.
My son gave me a poster for Xmas And it Kinda goes like this.
I look back on my life like foot steps in the sand and I see two sets of foots steps through all the good times Knowing god is with me, and the I asked god why through the tuff times did I only see one set of foot prints. Why would you leave me through the toghest times in my life.
God responded, Son I did not leave you through those times, I carried you.
please....... have faith!
Call to talk anytime!!!!
