Just wanted to say HI,brand new to surf fishing. Fished the Great Lakes most of my life,tried surf fishing and LOVE IT!!! will be asking questions and serching past post for much needed INFO. Thanks again and Happy New Year

welcome...where are you doing your surf fishing?...I spent 10 years in MI...Alpena fishing Thunder Bay and the lakes near there...moved to Oscoda and fished the AuSable riverand the lakes near there...I lived across the street from a Lockhart(fritz & Lois), any relation?...I've ice fished as low as -52 but sometimes it feels colder standing on the beach here...lol...
