Thinking about getting a good vacuum sealer. I have one of the Reynolds Handi-Vac jobs, but it's pretty light duty. Gets the job done, but I'd rather look into something that's a little more heavy duty. Any suggestions?

Thanks Bubba. A lot of good information in those threads. Going to Wally World in a few to check them out.

Food Saver!
Your fish will last a lot longer, frozen of course, zero degrees is best.
My food saver really did some humming this year, Red fish, Trout, Spot, and Flounder. Yum-O

The Capt and I use the commercial version of the Food Saver to seal up fresh squid and macks..
Note when using it to freeze fish put some papertowels at the opening so when the machine starts to suck the air out. The paper towels will absorb the juices. This will prevent it making a mess of the sealer.
