I want to mag my SHv30 but don't see how to do it with the way its setup. i did my avet pretty simple. I want a static mag, dont think the washer mag trick will work for this one due to the brake part. Any idea's are greatly appreciated
Thanks

Instead of glueing the mags on the left side plate, look at the right side, under the spool! :)

Don't know much about the Daiwa's...YET...(plan to get one soon) but I think they make a mag end plate for it. I realize you said you want it static magged, so other than that, I'm at a loss. As stated above, look on the right side plate, but somewhere, maybe on this forum, there was a thread about removing the brake parts. After all, if you are going to mag it, the centrifugal brakes won't be necessary anyway. If the procedure wasn't on this forum, it was on one of the other more popular ones. A google search may help if you don't find it on here.

Here's a place to start: C2

the only way to mag the left plate is to cut the centri brake bars off.
you can use the clicker hole to put a knobby through it.
or you can static mag the right plate with glue and mags
glue a metal shim, then just stick the mags on the shim
other then that.. not much options.
for a bait stick.
best glue on the right plate. cause the clicker is very handy on daiwas.
but not as loud as newell clickers xD i love newells more then daiwas.
