from wright & mcgill website
"The ultra light aluminum body is designed to stand up to even the nastiestsaltwater conditions.
The 9+1 ball bearing system with infinite anti-reverse won't let you down nomatter how hard you fish.
The ultra smooth front drag system utilizes a dual disc system that loves to be tested by big fish in harsh conditions.
The thick power bail, long life bail spring and anti-twist line roller ensure quickpick-ups and smooth casts all day long.
Energy is transmitted through the oversized, soft touch handle and a CNC cut machined aluminum handle to the reel body.
No cheap spare spool here; we've included a fully machined, aluminum spare spool that perfectly matches the one that comes mounted on the reel.
Dunk it, drag it or drown it. This reel is impervious to saltwater! Just rinse with freshwater after your playtime is done and you're ready for tomorrow.
1 year warranty."

Could it be true??
Could be...BUT...not so sure that the drag is impervious to saltwater. Is the drag sealed??? Plus, there'd better be several O-rings in place or something similar, as well as the line-roller, bail spring, etc. That being said, I sure hope it's true. I've never really seen or heard of a reel that is "truly" dunkable.
well its a copy of the daiwa saltiga blast?

Eric,
i didn't buy it and I'm not rich.
It just so happened that i sent my brother thru college. You know, asians tend to help each family member finish college, it's part of our culture Eric. After my brother finished engineering, he worked in japan and as a sign of his gratitude, i'm getting all the nice JDM reels for free the rest of my life- i hope;).

O rings, drag as mentioned and also the outer parts, particularly the spool knob and possibly the wire guide (pitting). Then you have to ask if it's so indestuctible then why only a 1 year warranty? Like to hear if anyone has first hand experience with this one.
I can say that my Daiwa Emcast 6500 is, well not dunkable, but mine has found it's way in the water from time to time. I'm not the best with keeping my equipment. It has served me well for 5 years running and not overly expensive. Had some old Garcia Mitchell's took a beating and kept on ticking. I've got a Penn Senator that has taken it's share and more. Guess it gets down to which one you get cause there are others that I've had that bit the dust in one or two seasons.
