What's with the slow loading of the site?? Sometimes this site pops right up for me and other times,, like for the past two days, it's so slow to load and navigate that I don't visit it. I'm running DSL and this is the only site that I have this problem with. Is it something with my system or are some of you other guys experiencing the same thing?

I also noticed it the past couple of days, to the extent that sometimes, I got the "page not available" screen. I am also running DSL. Don't know if it's heavy traffic on the site or what. Maybe we're such a great site, everyone is hoppin' on now! :D
No problems here. Running cable modem, but I wouldn't think that would make a difference.

OK, so I wonder if it's Verizon DSL? Squalus says he's running Verizon.....anyone else with Verizon having problems. I'm running Verizon DSL along with AOL.
In the past, P&S has been slow for maybe a day/day and a half and then it would start popping right up again like the rest of the sites I visit. This time around it's been REALLY slow since Sunday. I visit three other boards and they all pop right up so I don't know what's going on.

Steve, The Vz connection you refer to is wireless ??? Not wireless from a router. That is different.. That is like a cell phone for the laptop, mabey 1.5 mps if your lucky with location.. But IMO not the reason for slow loading to one site. All sites yes .. But..

Hmm. Couple of checks show things running a little slow from my end as well.
Let me check into it, and please let me know if you continue to have slow response times.
